The collaboration between Pindarica and Ris8 Group continues, an entrepreneurial entity in the restaurant industry known for the famous risotteries Dai C’Andom, Dai C’Andema, Dai C’Andam, and the gourmet hamburger joint Dag A Drè.
For the naming, we continued to use the beloved Emilia-Romagna slang, often utilized in the group’s ironic and somewhat irreverent language. “Pôchi Bâli” means “no nonsense”: it’s said when one wants to get straight to the point, without any frills. An invitation to stop beating around the bush and get to the essence of something.
With the boom of craft beers, we had to navigate through IPAs, APAs, sour beers, top-fermented beers, bottle-refermented beers… Well, there are times when you just want “a beer, plain and simple,” as the payoff of Pôchi Bâli says. Born from a partnership with Menabrea, the Dai C’Andom beer is a simple yet high-quality light blonde (lager), straightforward and light like the atmosphere in the group’s establishments.
To further highlight the Emilian roots, the packaging graphics are inspired by the golden fields of the Po Valley where, in summer, bales (Bâli) of hay appear. But only a few (Pôchi)… 😉 The particularly innovative printing technique is on a full-body shrink sleeve: a film that wraps around the entire bottle, allowing us to think of the design as a cohesive whole with the object.
